God’s Armor Bearers - Week I – the battleground of Uncertainty…
What an amazing Sunday…
Pastor Chris did an amazing job on Sunday, as usual, clarifying the definition of God’s Armor Bearers. In the Old Testament, an armor bearer is one who bears the arms of another and also is defined as one who stands and fights beside his respective leader. Fortunately the leader of our church, Pastor Ken Hitte is a great example of the type of leader that I can honestly call a mentor. Pastor Chris went through a series of questions, that each of us should review and answer about each of our lead Pastors. Please review them and see how your answers are revealed to you;
1. Are you able to submit to the Pastor of our church and follow his lead as he follows God?
2. Are you able to stand by him when decisions need to be made?
3. Are you able to support his decisions even when we think we have a better one?
4. Are you readily available to serve your Pastor as he works to accomplish the vision given to him by God?
5. Are you willing to protect our Leader, both physically and spiritually, from harm?
6. Are you willing to protect the testimony and influence of our Leader by promoting his thoughts and ideas clearly?
Ultimately, Serving your Pastor in the capacity of armor bearer requires you to have faith…
